Although keto desserts are hard to prepare and rare since you can’t use normal dessert ingredients, there are a few you can make in minutes that will satisfy your sweet keto tooth. Take this chocolate fudge, for example – it requires no baking or even kitchen skills. Even if you’re a total newbie, you can still prepare it on your own.
The soft fudge tastes delicious. It will taste in your mouth and trigger a chocolate detonation that is perfect for anyone on a keto diet. If you’re looking for a healthy and tasty keto dessert, this could very well be it.
Tips for Making the Keto Fudge
The best thing about this keto fudge is the fact that you can’t mess up with the amount of the ingredients. There are no exact proportions you need to follow, so even if you’re a noob, it won’t be hard to make it on your own.
To sweeten the fudge and make it melt in your mouth, use a confectioner’s swerve. Or you know, go with any powdered sweetener other than sugar. Just make sure it’s nicely powdered and alter the measurements to your liking.
Make sure the baking chocolate you use is 100% chocolate. This will get you the optimal taste and make the keto fudge taste like heaven. Check the nutrition label of the chocolate you’re buying to see how much actual chocolate it contains.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a microwave to melt the ingredients. A double boiler will do just fine. With that being said, microwaves are perfect for this fudge as they won’t overheat. Once the ingredients melt together, you can add nuts, seeds, sea salt or whatever floats your boat. This final step will enrich the flavor of the fudge and make it even tastier. If you want extra chocolate chips (and we really suggest it), make sure they’re sugar-free. I made it with them and the taste is just…heavenly.
Other Keto Fudge Variants
Why stop at chocolate keto fudge? The great thing about these desserts is that you can easily make a ton of sweet keto recipes that are just as easy as this chocolate fudge. For example, you can make a peanut butter fudge with a bit of sea salt and a natural sweetener in the microwave in minutes. Just let everything melt together, let it cool in the fridge (or a freezer), then pour melted chocolate as the final layer. Yummy!
Since keto fudges are not meant to be baked, they’re similar to those fat keto bombs you can see on the internet. They’re just as easy to make and come in different variations. For example, you can make tasty citrus keto fat bombs, cookie dough fat bombs or go with the chocolate/peanut butter combo we love so much. Just like the fudge, this is the perfect keto dessert recipe which will definitely keep your sweet tooth in check.
How to Serve and Store the Fudge
In general, most chocolate keto fudge recipes are made in the form of an 8×8 block, which means 16 servings. You can also go for cubes. No matter the form, they can be served cold and stored in your fridge or freezer. It’s simple – just put them in those leftover containers and into the fridge they go. Easy-peasy!
Keto Fudge Recipe
- 1 ½ cups of confectioner’s swerve
- 6 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup of salted butter
- 6 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate (chopped)
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
Get an 8×8 pan and line foil in it, while putting the other ingredients in a heat-proof container. Melt it all in a microwave for 30 seconds. If they need more, hit the ingredients with another 30 seconds. Stir well in the end and make sure the whole thing is silky smooth.
Now pour the mix in the melted pan, then put it in the fridge or freezer – that’s up to you. Take the fudge off the pan using the foil below it. Cut into 16 bars and serve them cold. Bon Appetit!
